At a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday for a delegation from the Liberal Democratic Party’s Youth Division, Ms. Ngan asked the two sides to maintain visits and meetings, improve the role of MPs, especially young and female lawmakers, and coordinate closely in holding activities celebrating the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties next year. She suggested that both continue to support each other at global and regional forums, calling on Japan to continue its important role and active contributions to ensuring security, safety, and freedom of aviation and navigation in the East Sea.
