Tourist attractions packed with holidaymakers as Vietnam celebrates Reunification Day

(VOVWORLD) - Tens of thousands of holidaymakers have flocked to the Central Highlands city of Da Lat since Saturday, the first day of the 5-day holiday marking National Reunification and Labor Day.

Nguyen My Chi, a visitor from the northern province of Ha Nam said: “Da Lat has been more and more beautiful. Its tourism services have improved significantly.”

Historical relic sites in HCM city like Independence Palace and the Cu Chi tunnel have become popular destinations. Pham Thi Vui, a visitor from Hanoi said: “I can’t hold back my tears visiting HCM city. I’m so happy to live in a free, independent, and reunified country.”

Over the past few days, the Kim Lien special national relic site in the central province of Nghe An, the birthplace of President HCM, welcomed more than 30,000 visitors including Japanese, Americans, and Sri Lankans.
