Trade fair helps Vietnam boost exports to Cambodia

(VOVworld) – 110 Vietnamese businesses with 200 booths are showcasing their high-quality food, household plastic, clothes, footwear, and handicraft products in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The Vietnam-Cambodia trade, service, and tourism fair, which opened on Wednesday, has been held annually since 2010 to help Vietnam penetrate the Cambodian market.

At the opening ceremony, acting Cambodian Minister of Commerce Kim Si Thon applauded the fruitful recent economic and trade relations between Cambodia and Vietnam. He said Cambodia considers Vietnam an important trade partner and cited growing trade revenue as evidence of closer trade ties and a long-lasting friendship.

200 businesses from the two countries are attending a trade and investment promotion forum and other activities to study and expand markets.
