In the period, the US was Vietnam’s biggest export market, buying nearly 39 billion USD worth of Vietnamese goods, up 25 percent. The US was followed by the EU with approximately 28 billion USD, down 0.5 percent. China was third with 24 billion USD, down 2.5 percent. ASEAN was fourth with 17 billion USD, up 3.6 percent. Economists say exports in the final months of this year will continue to rise, as Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) take effect.
