(VOVworld) – Transport Minister Truong Quang Nghia and 3 other candidates for the National Assembly election met with voters in Van Ho, Moc Chau, Phu Yen, and Bac Yen district in Son La province this week. The voters said they hope if elected the candidates will propose that the National Assembly, government, and relevant ministries issue specific policies to support the northwestern region in terms of infrastructure and social security. Minister Nghia and other candidates pledged to give priority to mountain and border areas if they are elected.
