(VOVWORLD) - With Donald Trump in the hospital, his re-election campaign on Saturday launched "Operation MAGA" or "Make America Great Again" under which a series of online and in-person campaign events will be held during the last month prior to the official election day in November.

The announcement comes as President Trump is being treated at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for COVID-19 infection.
"Operation MAGA" will include virtual events before Wednesday's vice presidential debate in Salt Lake City, Utah. Vice President Mike Pence will begin a swing through key states following this debate.
The First Family members - Donald J Trump Jr, Eric Trump and his wife Lara - will host virtual events in battleground states until the vice presidential debate on Wednesday, when the in-person events will commence.
The campaign will also deploy its coalitions, including Women for Trump, Black Voices for Trump, Latinos for Trump and others for events in key states.
