Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that he expected to meet with Russia President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of an economic conference in Vietnam later this week. He said North Korea a big issue for Russia and for the world and said he wants to get it solved.

During his visit to Japan, Trump will have talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, met American and Japanese soldiers, families of Japanese citizens abducted by North Korea. He will then leave for South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.
