Trump: Program protecting young illegal immigrants 'probably' dead
(VOVWORLD) - US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that a program that protects illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children from being deported would “probably” be discontinued.

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, a program created in 2012 by the Obama administration to allow young people brought to the US illegally by their parents to get a temporary reprieve from deportation and receive permission to work, study and obtain a driver's license. Applicants had to be younger than 31 years old when the program began and had to prove that they had lived in the United States continuously since June 15, 2007, and that they had arrived in the US before the age of 16.
