Turkey and the US are locked in a heated dispute about US plans to liberate Raqqa, with Turkey suggesting its own army and allies in Syria should mount the fight. Yildirim says Turkey won’t be part of any operation that includes Syrian Kurds.
Turkish Presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said Kurdish fighters should move out of the Syrian town of Manbij to the eastern side of the Euphrates River.
The Turkish Foreign Minister warned that Turkey will attack the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) in Manbij if they don’t leave.
