(VOVworld) – UK’s Prime Minister David Cameron on Monday asked its parliament to respect people’s will to leave the European Union.

He also ruled out a second referendum on UK’s EU membership. The same day, the 1922 committee led by the ruling Conservative Party’s parliamentarians set time to appoint a new prime minister. The nomination process will be conducted for two days, starting Wednesday. The nominations must be approved by all members of the 1922 Committee. UK’s new Prime Minister will be designated on September 2nd and Cameron will hand over the key of the 10, Downing Street house, to its new owner on the same day.

In a meeting in Berlin on Monday, Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande, and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said the EU need a “new motivation” after British people voted to leave and must change its working method. The detailed initiatives by Germany, France and Italy regarding this issue were given out in the EU Summit in Brussels on Tuesday. The three leaders agreed not to discuss with the UK on Brexit until it officially submits an application to leave the bloc.
