(VOVworld) - Ukraine has received the first 5 billion USD of the International Monetary Fund's 17.5 billion USD bailout for its troubled economy in four years. 2.2 billion USD went to government coffers while 2.8 billion USD would go to the account of the central bank. This bailout will free Ukraine from its international creditors. According to IMF’s plan, the second 5 billion USD tranche would arrive later this year.
