UN issues new global strategy on health protection

(VOVworld) – The UN has issued a new global strategy to achieve the highest attainable standard of health for all women, children and adolescents, and ensure that every newborn, mother and child not only survives, but thrives.

Under the strategy which is the combination between the state and private sectors, in the next 5 years, more than 25 billion USD will be spent on preventing fatal diseases for those people, providing vaccination and care to expecting women. The new global strategy for the health of women, children and adolescents includes new policies and receives support from more than 40 countries and 100 international organizations, UN agencies and private sector.
