UNESCO experts evaluate Krong No volcanic park
(VOVWORLD) - A group of UNESCO experts has arrived in Dak Nong province to evaluate Krong No volcanic park which is seeking UNESCO recognition as a Global Geopark.

The evaluation conducted by Maurizio Burlanfo and Vesa Krokki, two experts of the UNESCO Global Geopark Network is expected to take place until Thursday. After visiting tourist sites in the park, the experts will report the result of their evaluation at the Asia Pacific Geopark Conference in Indonesia in September. The UNESCO Council will later convene and make decision on the question of recognition.
