(VOVWORLD) - China and the US will organize their 2nd diplomatic and security dialogue on Friday, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying on Tuesday.

Chinese politburo member Yang Jiechi and Defense Minister Wei Fenghe will take part in the talks, Ms. Hua said.
A statement from the US State Department said that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defense Secretary James Mattis will co-host the discussions.
