US emphasizes commitment to two-state solution to Israeli-Palestinian conflict
(VOVWORLD) -Washington is committed to a two-state solution to Israeli-Palestinian relations, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a phone call with the new Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen on Monday.

During the call, Blinken reaffirmed Washington's unwavering commitment to the US-Israel partnership and the security of the State of Israel, State Department spokesman Ned Price said.
The two sides discussed the US’s continuing efforts to advance its interests and meet common challenges. Blinken said the US opposes policies that reduce the prospects of a two-state solution.
Israeli media reported that the two foreign ministers discussed extending the 2020 Abraham Accords on normalizing relations between Israel and a number of Arab countries.
