US President abruptly supports government “shut down”
(VOVWORLD) - US President Donald Trump has appeared to call for a government shutdown later this year in response to a bipartisan spending deal worth more than 1.1 trillion USD to secure government operations until the end of the fiscal year on September 30.

The announcement came after Republicans rejected proposals to finance the building of a wall along the Mexican border and to cut spending on environment. Trump expressed his dissatisfaction at accepting Democrat demands for the spending bill despite Republican dominance in both Houses of Congress.
