US President threatens to close border with Mexico “permanently”
(VOVWORLD) - President Donald Trump said the US will close its southern border with Mexico if needed.

On Twitter, Trump called on Mexico to deport migrants seeking to enter the United States. He said many of these migrants are criminals and the United States will close the border long-term if necessary. Mr Trump also urged the US Congress to fund the construction of a wall along the border with Mexico. US troops on Monday were forced to use tear gas to disperse violent migrants and close the San Ysidro border crossing between San Diego and Tijuana.
