US sends condolences for flood victims in central Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - The US Government sends its deepest condolences to the Vietnamese Government and people as they mourn the flood victims in Vietnam’s central region, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a press release on Thursday.

The US stands ready to help Vietnam cope with the damage caused by the floods, and sends its deepest sympathies to all those affected by this tragedy, including the many thousands who were displaced, the statement said.
The US Agency for International Development (USAID) will provide immediate assistance worth 200,000 USD to support flood response efforts in Vietnam and Cambodia.
