VFF appeals for supporting flood-affected people
(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) has launched a program to raise fund for flood victims in the south central region.

VFF President Nguyen Thien Nhan appealed for all people inside and outside Vietnam to uphold the spirit of “the haves help the halves-not” to offer cash and kind assistance for the affected people to stabilize their lives.
At the ceremony on Tuesday, the VFF received donations worth 360,000 USD. The recent floods claimed the lives of 59 people and caused losses estimated at 90 million USD.
