(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan sent a congratulatory letter to all Vietnamese Buddhist monks, nuns, and followers inside and outside the country on Buddha’s birthday.

Mr. Nhan wished Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and followers a harmonious life in the national unity bloc and urged them to continue to promote the fine traditions of Buddhism in the new period.
He urged them to get involved in national patriotic movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front, contribute to national construction and defense, protect the environment, and engage in humanitarian activities.
