Vice President: Con Dao capable of receiving 1 million visitors annually
(VOVWORLD) -Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh said Con Dao’s aim of attracting 1 million visitors per year is within reach if transport infrastructure and tourism services are improved.

At a working session with district’s leaders in Con Dao on Friday, Ms. Thinh praised the district’s socio-economic development achievements and social welfare policies. She called on Con Dao to accelerate local development planning and create favorable conditions for tourism growth.
The same day, the Vice President planted a tree in Hang Duong cemetery, and visited a pearl farm and Ben Dam port, where the Soc Trang-Con Dao water route was recently inaugurated.
