Vice President encourages miners in Quang Ninh
(VOVWORLD) -Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan on Friday visited the coal mines and met with miners in Quang Ninh province as Vietnam is observing Workers' Month and Month for Occupational Safety and Hygiene of May.

Vice President Xuan congratulated the achievements of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV) and Quang Ninh Province, especially Quang Ninh’s recent development that has made an important contribution to the overall development of Vietnam.
The Vice President called for more solutions to improve income and care for the life and safety of workers.
She asked TKV and Quang Ninh to adopt timely policies, get the market signals, and find a way for the coal industry to transform toward green economy and sustainable development.
