(VOVworld) – Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan on Saturday visited and presented gifts to child patients who are under treatment at the Hoan My Da Nang Hospital.

She is also Chairwoman of the Protection Council of the Vietnam Fund for Child Protection. She praised the hospital’s cooperation with foreign partners and asked hospital leaders to care more about the children of soldiers and officers on duty at sea: “I hope that the doctors and nurses will do their best to care for the children in central provinces. This will contribute to national construction and defense.”

This year, the Vietnam Fund for Child Protection plans to provide 150,000 USD to fund operations on 200 children through heart and lip surgery programs.
