(VOVWORLD) -TripAdvisor, the travel planning and booking site, has announced the winners of its Travelers' Choice awards for airlines, identifying travelers' favorite carriers around the globe.
Vietnam Airlines was named among Traveler’ Choice Major Airlines – Asia 2018, together with Singapore Airlines, ANA, Korean Air, Garuda Indonesia, and Cathay Pacific. Award winners were determined using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of airline reviews and ratings submitted by travelers worldwide, over a 12-month period on TripAdvisor Flights. Airlines are rated on such categories as customer service, seats, sanitation, meals and drinks, check-in procedures, and entertainment facilities.
Vietnam Airlines have received more than 4,000 out of 900,000 reviews from TripAvisor users to 550 airlines around the world. Over the past 2 years, the national flag carrier has been awarded 4-star services by UK-based SkyTrax. In 2017, Vietnam Airrlines won the “World's Leading Cultural Airline” award by World Travel Awards.
