The annual award, presented by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and the Vietnam Economic Times on Saturday, acknowledges domestic firms with outstanding business performance and significant contributions to social development.

The award’s criteria include business performance, trade mark protection, product/service quality, management capacity, human resources, corporate responsibility, and environmental protection.

On April 9, TripAdvisor, the world’s leading travel website, announced the winners of its Travelers’ Choice awards for best airlines around the globe, with Vietnam Airlines finding a place in the list. The Vietnamese carrier was ranked among the most favorite airlines in Asia in 2018 together with Singapore Airlines, ANA, Korean Air, Garuda Indonesia, and Cathay Pacific.

Over the past 2 decades, Vietnam Airlines has enjoyed average annual passenger growth of 11% and aggressively responded to humanitarian programs such as Operation Smile and building houses for people in flood-prone areas.
