Vietnam Airlines plane makes emergency landing to rescue foreign passenger
(VOVWORLD) - A Vietnam Airlines aircraft flying from Frankfurt, Germany to Hanoi made an emergency landing in Romania on Monday to save a Danish passenger who had a serious health problem.
One hour and a half after departure, the passenger, 30, had a convulsion and almost stopped breathing. The plane landed at Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport after a doctor had given him first aid.
The passenger is now in stable condition and has been discharged from hospital.
The flight arrived in Hanoi three hours late. The airline had booked new tickets for people who were catching connections.
