Vietnam Airlines to launch Hanoi-Dong Hoi route
(VOVWORLD) -National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will operate flights between Hanoi and the central city of Dong Hoi from June 1 to the end of August.
With 6-7 flights a week, the new route will help promote summer tourism in Quang Binh province, home to the UNESCO-recognized Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Flights will depart Hanoi at 6am from Tuesday to Sunday and travel time is estimated at one hour. Between June 4 and August 27, flights will be conducted 7 days a week. In 2017, Dong Hoi city welcomed more than 1 million tourists.
