(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang received the Chairman of Slovakia’s Supreme Court Stefan Harabin in Hanoi on Tuesday. President Sang said he believed that with the long-time relations between the two countries, their judicial sectors would continue to advance major cooperative achievements. He thanked Czech and Slovakia for supporting Vietnam in its past struggle for national independence and praised Slovakia’s support for Vietnam at international forums. He said that Vietnam was reforming its judicial sector and expected to learn from other countries’ experiences. 
Chairman Stefan Harabin hailed judicial cooperation between the two countries and said that Slovakia attached great importance to its relations with Vietnam. He expressed his admiration for Vietnam’s traditions and defense of its national sovereignty. He briefed President Sang on the main contents of the memorandum of understanding, which will be signed with Vietnam’s judicial sector. He expressed his belief that personnel training in the judicial sector would continue. He said he would talk to the Slovakian Prime Minister about ways to implement agreements between the two countries, including providing ODA for Vietnam’s judicial sector.
