(VOVworld) – China always attaches importance to its relationship with Vietnam and hopes to develop the bilateral friendship for both peoples’ interest, Wang Qishan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection on Wednesday told Ngo Van Du, Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam's Central Committee (CPVCC) and Head of the CPVCC's Commission for Inspection.

Du, who is leading a delegation on a visit to China, offered condolences to the families of victims of the recent earthquake in Sichuan province and expressed his confidence that the Chinese party will lead its people through the post-disaster recovery. Du said Vietnam consistently treasures its comprehensive strategic cooperation and partnership with China.
