In a meeting with Danish Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen on Thursday in Copenhagen, Ms. Phong urged the Danish Government to continue implementing its Growth Strategy for Vietnam after 2016. She noted that two-way trade exceeded 500 million USD in 2015, and said Vietnam hopes the Danish Government will continue facilitating its investment in Vietnam.

The same day, Ms. Phong met with First Vice President of the Danish Parliament Henrik Dam Kristensen. She called on both sides to seek new forms of collaboration, as the two countries elevate their development cooperation to a mutually beneficial partnership.

The Vietnamese legislator also met with staff from the Vietnamese Embassy in Denmark.
