The conference on dynamism for growth and solutions to spur Vietnam's economy

Participants discussed growth momnetum and identified opportunities and challenges of the economy for immediate and long-term solutions. Director of the Vietnam Institute of Economics Tran Dinh Thien said the 4^th industrial revolution, international integration, and free trade agreements have posed opportunities and challenges for the economy.

Thien said: “Reforming the growth model requires basic solutions and clear purposes. We should decide a system of mechanism and policies to encourage free competition. It’s necessary to release businesses from regulations so they enjoy free competition. The government should work on human resource development for high quality work force.”
