Vietnam effectively applies international aviation standards
(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung suggested the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) continuing to provide Vietnam with technical support and information so Vietnam can fulfill its management duty of the Flight Information Region.
At a reception for ICAO President Olumuyiwa Bernard Aliu in Hanoi on Thursday, Mr. Dung also urged ICAO to support Vietnam sending a representative to ICAO and its candidacy for ICAO’s Group 3 representing geographical regions in the 2022-2025 period.
Mr. Aliu acknowledged the Vietnamese civil aviation sector in implementing international standards and pledged to support Vietnam in improving its performance.
