Vietnam enjoys trade surplus with Canada in first 2 months

(VOVworld) - Vietnam enjoyed a trade surplus with Canada in the first two months of the year, continuing to lead ASEAN member countries in exports value to Canada.

Vietnamese Trade Counselor in Canada Hoang Anh Dung said Vietnam earned more than 586 million USD from exports to Canada in the reviewed period, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%.

Vietnam mainly exported electronic products and accessories, footwear, textile products, children toys, and printers.

Vietnam’s imports tallied in at 131 million USD, resulting in a trade surplus of 455.5 million USD.
