Vietnam expects more international support for humanitarian activities

(VOVworld) – Vietnam expects further support from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to help victims of floods and storms.

Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung was speaking in his reception of the Societies President Tadateru Konoe on Saturday that Vietnam is a country most affected by climate change and natural disaster, especially major flood in the central region. Mr Konoe pledged close ties with Vietnamese partner agencies in humanitarian activities and disaster response.
