(VOVworld) – The multi-faceted cooperation between Vietnam’s localities and China’s Guangdong province has seen positive results in all fields, especially in trade, investment, agriculture, and tourism, buoyed by the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic partnership. The remark was made at the fourth periodic conference in Ho Chi Minh City to review the connection between Vietnam’s ministries and localities and Guangdong over the previous year and make plans for future affiliation, co-chaired by the Guangdong Vice Governor Zhao Yu Fang and Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son.

The conference took place during Guangdong Vice Governor’s on-going visit to Vietnam. The province is partnering with Vietnam to carry out several major projects in Vietnam, such as the An Duong industrial park and the Vinh Tan 1 thermal power plant. On the occasion of the visit, Guangdong province worked with Vietnam to organize a trade conference in Ho Chi Minh City and a tourism workshop in Da Nang City.
