Vietnam, Israel optimize cooperation potential

(VOVworld) - Vietnam and Israel should work together in the spirit of creativity and innovation to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation. Israeli President Reuven Rivlin made the suggestion in a recent interview with Vietnam News Agency on the run up to his upcoming official visit to Vietnam from March 19-25.

He said the bilateral cooperation has gained fruitful results in various areas. He suggested the two countries increase cooperation in agriculture, irrigation, and water resource conservation, President Reuven Rivlin said during his visit to Vietnam, he will be accompanied by more than 50 leading Israeli businesses. His delegation will participate in 2 seminars on economics to expand bilateral economic cooperation. The Israeli President said he will discuss with Vietnamese leaders ways to strengthen bilateral ties, improve their peoples’ living standards, and address global challenges including security, stability, and creativity. President Reuven Rivlin said Israel wanted to strengthen bilateral security-defense cooperation with Vietnam.
