(VOVworld) - Senior Lieutenant General Ngo Xuan Lich, Chief of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, has extended best wishes to the Lao People’s Army on its 65th founding anniversary. Lich expressed his belief that the Vietnam and Lao armies will continue to honor their time-tested friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation.
Welcoming Lich at the Lao Embassy in Hanoi on Wednesday, Lao ambassador to Vietnam Somphon Synchaleun said that the Lao People’s Army will always stand shoulder to shoulder with Vietnam in any circumstance and preserve the special ties between the two countries.
