(VOVworld) – Young people of in border provinces between Vietnam and Laos have gathered in the central city of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa to review their cooperation activities during the Vietnam – Laos Friendship Year 2012.

At the 3-day meeting that concluded on Saturday, officials of the two countries' Youth Unions signed a memorandum of understanding to facilitate their youth unions' organizations, especially those in border provinces to increase direct cooperation relations, participate in the border protection for peace, cooperation, and development. Several youth activities will be held  to deepen the bilateral traditional friendship, the special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, governments, and peoples.
