(VOV) - Vietnam and Laos plan to hold a ceremony in July 2013 to mark the completion of their land border marker planting. The ceremony will be held at the Thanh Thuy-Nam On border gate pair between Vietnam’s Nghe An province and Laos’ Bolikhamsai province. The proposal was made at a meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Joint Committee on Border Marker Planting in Hanoi on Tuesday. Both sides said at the meeting that they began a project on increasing and restoring land border markets along their common borders in 2005 and the project has proved successful.
