In talks with Secretary of Mongolia’s National Security Council Gansukh Amarjargal in Hanoi on Monday, Mr Lam suggested establishing a security cooperation mechanism for exchanging information, and a coordinated mechanism to ensure the security of visiting delegations, diplomatic offices, and diplomats.

The two sides agreed to boost cooperation through multilateral institutions. Secretary Gansukh urged the two sides to enhance their partnership, especially in fighting crimes and terrorism, thus helping promote the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
