Vietnam monitors Chinese ship in the East Sea
(VOVWORLD) -Fishermen have in recent days reported to press agencies that the Chinese ship Haiyang Dizhi 4 is operating in Vietnam's exclusive economic zone.

Responding to the press on this issue, Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang said, "Vietnamese functional agencies have always closely followed developments in the East Sea and resolutely and persistently implemented measures of maritime law enforcement and management in accordance with international law, especially the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and Vietnamese law, to protect its legal rights”.
