Vietnam National Assembly keen to boost cooperation with Armenian counterpart

(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnamese National Assembly is keen to boost cooperation with its Armenian counterpart, said National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

At a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Hanoi on Saturday, Ms. Ngan called on both sides to increase cooperation at regional and multilateral forums and at the Inter-Parliamentary Union, exchange ideas, and consult with each other issues of mutual concerns in line with each country’s benefits.

Chairwoman Ngan applauded Friday talk between the Vietnamese and Armenian Prime Ministers, expressing the Vietnamese Assembly’s support for cooperation between the two governments.

Expressing his impression on Vietnam’s economic achievements and higher prestige in the international arena, Prime Minister Pashinyan said his Vietnam visit provides opportunities to strengthen ties between the two National Assemblies.
