Vietnam records 110,000 new cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours

(VOVWORLD) - From 4 p.m. on Tuesday to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Vietnam recorded 110,301 new COVID-19 cases, of which 21 were imported and 110,280 were recorded domestically in all 63 provinces and cities. Vietnam’s total caseload has to date reached 3,709,481.

During the day, an additional 36,902 patients were announced to recover from COVID-19, raising the total number of recoveries to 2,516,785. In the past 24 hours, 114 deaths from COVID-19 were reported.

By Wednesday, Vietnam administered more than 195.3 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine. 62 out of 63 provinces and cities reported the second dose vaccination rate of over 90%. 16,978,338 doses COVID-19 vaccines have been given to children aged 12-17.
