Vietnam responded to this year’s Earth Hour campaign with scores of activities to encourage people to save energy any time and any where, making it a habit.

Launched by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Earth Hour has become the world’s biggest grassroots environmental movement where landmarks and communities switch off their lights simultaneously (8.30 pm local time). It aims to raise public awareness of climate change and energy saving.

Vietnam has participated in Earth Hour for 16 years.
