Vietnam Sea Tourism Season kicks off

(VOV) – The 2013 Cua Lo Tourism Festival kicked off on Tuesday in Cua Lo town, Nghe An province to officially launch this year’s tourism season.

With the facility of more than 6,500 guest rooms, the province expects to welcome around 2 million visitors with a turnover estimated at 67 million USD this year. Various activities are offered to visitors including night octopus catching and tours to well-known historical and cultural sites in the area. The 2013 Do Son Tourism Festival has also begun in Hai Phong city signaling a new tourism season in Do Son beach. This is the spotlight of the National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta in Hai Phong. Taking place from April 28th to May 6th, the festival includes an open golf tournament, a dragon boat race, a fishing contest, and a trade fair to introduce sea products in the area.
