With the facility of more than 6,500 guest rooms, the province expects to welcome around 2 million visitors with a turnover estimated at 67 million USD this year. Various activities are offered to visitors including night octopus catching and tours to well-known historical and cultural sites in the area. The 2013 Do Son Tourism Festival has also begun in Hai Phong city signaling a new tourism season in Do Son beach. This is the spotlight of the National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta in Hai Phong. Taking place from April 28^th to May 6^th, the festival includes an open golf tournament, a dragon boat race, a fishing contest, and a trade fair to introduce sea products in the area.
