Vietnam, Slovakia share judicial experience

(VOVworld) – A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese People’s Supreme Court led by Chief Justice Truong Hoa Binh visited Slovakia from Sunday to Wednesday to exchange experience in judicial activities.

Slovak Deputy Chief Justice Jarmila Urbancova said the visit is important to their judicial cooperation and bilateral relations, showing Vietnam’s determination to reform its judiciary sector, including law supervision and implementation.
The Vietnamese delegation also met with Slovak Minister of Justice Tomas Borec and Vice Chairman of the Slovak Judicial Council Jan Vanko to discuss justice reform in Slovakia, the operations of the Justice Ministry and Judicial Council, and their roles in the reform.
The delegation also met with the Slovak Bar Association and the Prosecution Office and visited the Slovak Judicial Academy.
