(VOVworld) – Delegates from the Vietnam State Treasury on Tuesday presented 150 thousand USD to Coast Guard unit Region 2 in Quang Nam province.

The representative of the Vietnam State Treasury presented 150 thousand USD to Coast Guard unit Region 2 in Quang Nam province.

The gift was the combined one-day salaries of Vietnam’s State Treasury officials and was given to Fisheries surveillances unit No.3, the fisheries surveillance department Region 2 in Da Nang, the Coast Guard unit Region 2 and the fishery trade union of Quang Ngai province. The gift has encouraged Vietnam’s law enforcement forces at sea to carry out their duties successfully.
Colonel Nguyen Quang Trung, the head of Coast Guard force in Region 2 of the High Command of Coast Guard, said: “People in entire country and political system always turn their hearts to the East Sea and their supports for the law enforcement agencies are tremendous. We would like to express our gratitude to the Party, government, and people for always standing side by side with the Coast Guard force in fulfilling their duties”.
