(VOVworld)- The Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina and Uruguay and the Chamber of Commerce and Services of Uruguay held a meeting on Saturday discussing ways to boost bilateral economic and trade relations.

A representative of the Vietnamese Trade Councilor Nguyen Thanh Van introduced Vietnam’s import demands and export potential as well as cooperation programs between the two countries’ enterprises. During her stay in Uruguay, Ms Van met with representatives of the MERCOSUR-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce. Trade between Vietnam and Uruguay totaled 124 million USD last year in which Vietnam’s exports valued at 41 million USD.
