(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has clarified its mechanisms and policies for tapping Vietnam’s sports, its development strategy, and preparations for the 2019 Asian Games, ASIAD.

Answering questions by deputies from the National Assembly’s Committee for Culture, Education, Youths, Adolescents, and Children in Hanoi on Tuesday, Minister Hoang Tuan Anh said: “in regards to the 150 million USD of preparation needed for ASIAD, our estimate covers all steps, including the organization of competitions and the opening and closing ceremonies. Under the plan for the games, which will be combined with a strategy for developing the infrastructure of Hanoi, the airport and roads will be upgraded utilizing both central and municipal funding.”
Minister Tuan Anh expressed his optimism at the selection, review, and development of young athletes and outstanding contestants ahead of the event.
