Vietnam to probe on the sinking of fishing vessel from Binh Dinh

(VOVworld) – A fishing vessel from Binh Dinh province was sunken on January 9, 2016. On Wednesday, in response to reporters’ questions over the incident, head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ly Quoc Tuan said: “The incident is being investigated by relevant Vietnamese agencies. In all circumstances, if a boat of any country caused the incident and did not rescue the fishermen, it should be criticized legally and humanitarianly. Relevant Vietnamese agencies are contacting with the Vietnamese fishermen and international organizations and involved countries to investigate the case. All the Vietnamese fishermen were rescued and brought to shore. This is a busy international sea route so Vietnamese fishermen at sea should remain vigilant to avoid similar events.”
